Cadillac Escalade IQ rental in Vancouver

The Escalade IQ keeps everything people know about the Escalade, the size, the presence and the three rows, and runs it on electricity alone. It is close to silent at speed, very quick when you ask, and well matched to a region with a wide public charging network.

What an electric Escalade feels like

With up to 750 hp in Velocity Max mode, the IQ moves its considerable weight with an ease that surprises first-time drivers. In everyday use it is the quiet that stands out: no engine note, very little wind noise, and smooth, instant response from a standstill.

Four-wheel steering tightens the turning circle, so the IQ is easier to place in a downtown laneway or a hotel driveway than its size suggests. Inside, a 55-inch curved display stretches across the dash, and the three rows seat seven adults in comfort. It is the rare full-size SUV that feels relaxing rather than tiring at the end of a long day.

Where Super Cruise is active, it offers hands-free driving on compatible mapped highways, which takes some strain out of a long run on Highway 1. You still stay alert and ready to take over, but the drive is noticeably more restful.

Using the Escalade IQ around Vancouver

The IQ is a natural fit for collecting a group from YVR and taking everyone to a hotel in Coal Harbour or on West Georgia Street in near silence. On a day trip up the Sea-to-Sky Highway, its estimated range comfortably covers a round trip to Whistler in most conditions.

Fast chargers in Squamish, Whistler and throughout Metro Vancouver make top-ups straightforward if you are staying longer or driving more. For trips beyond the Lower Mainland, such as the Okanagan, let us know in advance so we can approve the route and you can plan charging stops.

Many downtown hotels and parkades offer Level 2 charging, so an overnight top-up while you sleep is often possible. It is worth checking with your hotel when you book your room, and saving fast chargers for days with more driving than usual.

Booking the Escalade IQ

We deliver the IQ to the YVR arrivals curb, a downtown hotel or your home anywhere in Metro Vancouver, and collect it the same way when you are done. If a question about charging or range comes up mid-trip, our support line is open 24/7.

Instead of a fuel policy, the IQ has one simple rule: return it charged as agreed at booking. Extra drivers are welcome once we have their licence details, and child seats can be arranged if you request them ahead of time. Same-day bookings are possible when the IQ is free, though a day's notice gives us time to have it ready at the charge level we agree with you.

Escalade IQ rental questions

Do I have to return the Escalade IQ fully charged?

You return it charged as agreed at booking. We settle the level with you when you reserve, so there is no guesswork at drop-off.

How far can the Escalade IQ go on a charge?

Cadillac estimates roughly 700 km on a full charge, although cold weather, highway speed and heating all reduce real-world range. A return drive from Vancouver to Whistler is well within that in normal conditions.

How many people does the Escalade IQ seat?

It seats seven across three rows. If you are travelling with a full group and a lot of luggage, tell us when you book and we can advise whether the IQ or one of our larger gas SUVs suits the trip better.
